Topic of Conference
Advancing Through the Storm
This year’s conference will be unique. There is great concern over the increased hostility toward pregnancy centers and the need to encourage and equip our centers not to waver but stand strong for Christ in the heat of the battle. A group called “Leadership Alliance of Pregnancy Center Organizations” brings together all the leaders of the key national organizations that serve pregnancy centers; ministries like Heartbeat International, Care Net, NIFLA, & Focus on the Family, just to name a few. I have been asked by the group to produce a series of lessons to address this concern, to be distributed nationwide to pregnancy centers via the internet as well as a published study. We will use this year’s Conference to tape the series which is entitled “Advancing Through the Storm.” The series will focus on seven Bible characters and the lessons they teach on how to relate to personal adversity and persecution related to ministry. You can see the title for each lesson in the Conference Schedule.
For two representatives from each ministry, the conference is offered as a free gift! This includes all meals (Friday dinner and all three meals Saturday and Sunday). For all others, there is a nonrefundable registration fee of $50.00 per person. There is no limit on the number who can come from each ministry and you are encouraged to bring all staff, volunteers, and board members. Why this offer, which doesn’t come close to covering our expenses for the Conference? We view pregnancy center workers as contemporary heroes of the faith and we want you to know and feel how much you are loved and appreciated.
The 2019 National Pregnancy Center Conference Schedule can be found here. Please make every effort to stay the entire Conference, leaving Monday.
