ANNOUNCEMENTS

EBC HIATUS

Dear Church Family,

In light of President Trump extending the Coronavirus guidelines through the month of April, which requests no gatherings of more than ten people, we will continue our compliance with the guidelines. We do not take this action out of fear, but to be responsible in doing our part to mitigate the spread of the virus and protect those most vulnerable, especially the elderly. The church offices will remain open with the staff coming in and maintaining regular work hours. Do not hesitate to call the church office if you have a question or need. We will continue to reevaluate the situation to determine when we will resume services and activities. We will inform you of the decision on this same link.

During the time we cannot meet together as a church family, please join us for a live online experience on Sunday mornings. We will begin at 10:00am with Jonathan Merritt sharing the Sunday School Lesson, and then at 10:30am move right into the worship service with Andy Johnston leading songs of praise, followed by my message from God’s Word. You can access the livestream through a link on the homepage of our website or on Facebook. In addition, Jonathan Wilson will provide two prerecorded weekly programs, one for children entitled, “Adventures in Praiseville,” and one for youth, entitled, “Level Up Bible Study.” These can be accessed through links on the homepage.

We encourage you to remain faithful in your giving to the church by either mailing your gift in, dropping it by the church office, or going to our website and utilizing the on-line giving.

Let me close by reminding you our Heavenly Father is sovereign and He is good. He is in complete control of this global event and He is in control of each of our lives, causing all things to work together for the good of His people and His greater glory. We want to display a spirit of faith and confidence in God, seeing this as a wonderful opportunity to share the hope we have in Christ with those who succumb to fear. When people are uncertain of the future, we have an opportunity to share with them the truth that Jesus is the resurrection and the life.

My Love and Prayers Are with You,

Pastor Andy
